some of my favorite joe-isms...

  • every business fails or is sold
  • every problem is based in a fundamental flaw
  • get yourself a mantra
  • humanity, others yourself
  • no bad karma
  • give choices purpose
  • repurpose redirect reconnect
  • define yourself by work not the job
  • what came first the chicken or the egg? sometimes you just need to choose
  • definitive direction for problematic projects
  • everybody likes sausage, but nobody wants to see how it’s made. but we do
  • be brave enough to say the thing that everyone else is thinking
  • your obligation to your client isn’t to service every need but to see that every need is serviced
  • acknowledging failures is the only way to overcome them
  • you cannot completely ignore the thing that is the most unlikely to happen
  • relationships do not end until death; they only go dormant
  • don’t drink your bathwater
  • be a job, big or small, do it right or not at all
